A sustainability criterion is an environmental or social condition inside a procurement exercise. It may be a condition for submitting a bid, a response item, a scored award criterion, or a commitment that applies after award. You should be able to identify its criterion number, response field, score or pass mark, required document, and deadline. Examples include a greenhouse gas total for a stated year, an environmental policy, an ISO 14001 environmental-management certificate, or a worker grievance procedure.
Why does a sustainability criterion in a tender matter to you?

How does a procurement scorecard use sustainability criteria?
A procurement scorecard combines price, delivery, quality, risk, and sustainability criteria. Read both the weight and the gate.
