Sustainability data your Philippine company can defend.

In the Philippines the ask can come from a multinational customer, an investor, an exporter relationship, a platform questionnaire, or SEC reporting for listed companies. Whether you are answering a request, reporting on your own, or want a first number to work from, we help you turn it into an answer you can defend, without having to become a sustainability expert.

SEC reporting

Exporter and services requests

Customer evidence

In the Philippines, the request often comes from a customer, not a rule.

SEC sustainability reporting applies to publicly listed companies, but multinational customers, investors, exporters, and platforms can ask non-listed firms for emissions, policies, and supporting records too. The practical move is to keep the response clear and backed by source records.

01

PFRS sustainability disclosures now lead

SEC Memorandum Circular No. 16, Series of 2025 adopts PFRS S1 and PFRS S2 and introduces a phased roadmap for publicly listed companies and large non-listed entities. It replaces the 2019 framework for covered reporting.

02

Check the phased adoption tier

The first mandatory reporting year depends on the entity's tier. Confirm the applicable market-capitalization or revenue threshold and the relevant transition relief before setting the reporting timetable.

03

Supplier and exporter requests reach further

Service providers, exporters, and manufacturers may receive customer requests for energy, emissions, labor, ethics, and policy evidence even when they are not directly reporting as publicly listed companies.

Questions Philippine companies ask

Do Philippine publicly listed companies need sustainability reports?

Yes. The SEC 2019 guidelines apply to publicly listed companies through the sustainability reporting template submitted with SEC Form 17-A.

Can non-listed Philippine companies receive sustainability requests?

Yes. Customers, investors, exporters, and platforms can ask for emissions or ESG evidence from non-listed companies because of their own reporting or procurement needs.

Can Keslio help if we want a program, not just an answer?

Yes. We help Philippine companies build a baseline, set a strategy, and stand up a simple reporting process, so exporter and customer requests stop being a scramble each time.
