What is the CDP Corporate Questionnaire?
The 2026 full questionnaire has 13 modules. Modules 1 to 6 and 13 combine environmental themes; Modules 7 to 11 cover issue-specific performance; Module 12 covers environmental performance for financial services organizations. Start with Keslio's CDP supplier page if a customer sent the request.
Why does the CDP Corporate Questionnaire matter to you?
A customer, investor, bank or initiative can request your response. Questionnaire setup determines which environmental issues, sector questions and answer fields you receive. In 2026, companies with more than 1,000 employees or annual revenue above USD 250 million can only use the full questionnaire.
How does the CDP Corporate Questionnaire work?
Confirm the requester. Name a Submission Lead, who will submit the final response, and assign each question to an owner after setup. Questions 4.1.1 and 2.2.1 cover responsibility and environmental risk processes; 7.6 to 7.8 cover Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions; 7.53 to 7.53.2 cover emissions targets and progress.
What mistakes should you avoid?
- Preparing SME question numbers when the Portal assigned the full questionnaire.
- Copying last year's answer without checking the reporting year, boundary or current question wording.
- Entering emissions totals without the calculation file, factor source, units and approval record behind them.
- Assuming a submitted response means CDP or the requester endorsed your company.
Is the CDP Corporate Questionnaire the same as the SME questionnaire?
No. The SME questionnaire has fewer, simplified datapoints. An eligible company may choose the full version, but an organization above either 2026 eligibility threshold must use the full questionnaire.
What should you keep behind your response?
Keep the final question export, source records, calculation files, factor files, a list of included entities and sites, assumptions, approvals and any verification statement. Index each file to its question number and reporting year.
